Jill M. Alleman, CPA - Manager
Jill earned her BBA in accounting in 1989 from Loyola University of New Orleans, and began her career as a staff auditor with the international firm of Deloitte & Touche. She later transitioned into the tax department at the national firm BKD, where she became proficient in individual and business income taxation with emphasis in trusts, estates and not-for-profit entities. Jill joined Bloch and Company in 2012 after a break from her career to raise her four children and now serves as Manager, filling the role of Director of the Income Tax Services division of the firm. She specializes in the income taxation of individuals, trusts and estates and in tax reporting and accounting for entrepreneurial/start-up businesses, including LLCs, partnerships and S corporations. Jill supervises accounting/write-up services and keeps the firm current with regard to compilation requirements and standards. Additional responsibilities at the firm include handling all client-related correspondence with the IRS and other government agencies as well as election filings for new businesses.
Outside of work, Jill stays busy singing in the choir and cantoring at her church on weekends and at funerals, and playing piano at church and at her kids’ school functions. She enjoys traveling, fishing and just hanging around at the lake with her husband, children and three dogs.
